Best Travel Workout Equipment:
1. Best Travel Resistance Bands

This is the single best piece of equipment if you are serious about strength building. There are plenty of workouts you can do without any equipment but TheFitLife Exercise Resistance Bands will allow you to push yourself so much further. And the best part, you don’t have to get on the ground. Hook them up to a door or simply use your own foot! These are the highest rated on Amazon and definitely worth the ratings!
2. Best Travel Yoga Mat

If you love yoga, like me, then you know finding a yoga mat that you can actually travel with, without taking up your entire suitcase, is nearly impossible. We recently found this Primasole Folding Yoga Travel Pilates Mat and are in love with it. We can easily fit it in our suitcases and we’re even able to throw them in a backpack or beach bag to do some yoga outside. It is not the thickest yoga mat in the world but it is perfect for traveling and still getting in a good yoga flow (or another cardio workout!).

3. Best Travel Foam Roller

A collapsable foam roller?! YES! Foam rolling was such a great way for us to make sure our muscles got the proper attention they needed after a workout but a giant foam roller was never in the cards for us traveling. Luckily, we found The Morph Collapsible Foam Roller by Brazyn Life. It is so lightweight and collapses to only a few inches thick so we can throw it in the suitcase with no issues at all. And it actually works! We haven’t foam rolled in so long, and miss it so much!
4. Best Travel Jump Rope

Jump ropes are tiny and offer a tremendously hard workout. It is honestly one of the best travel workout essentials you can get for a small package and a huge impact. This highly rated DEGOL Jump Rope is perfect to throw in the suitcase and perfect to do just about anywhere! Just be ready for some sweat!
5. Best Travel Earbuds

Working out without music or any audio is just crazy. The Apple AirPods Pro are the perfect accessory for your next workout. We love them because they are noise-canceling allows you to actually hear your music over the sound of traffic or the gym music. And you can just put one in so you are still aware of your surroundings. Running is one of the major ways we work out while traveling and since we are in a new city every week, we want to be sure we are able to hear if someone is shouting at us, a car is coming, or something just isn’t right. These Airpods are perfect for that.
6. Best Travel Waterbottle

No workout is complete without water and with the way you are working out, you will be going through a ton of it. Best not to waste all those plastic water bottles and get a reusable water bottle. We swear by the Hydroflask 24oz Water Bottles because they actually keep your water cold and don’t leak. We have gone through so many other water bottles that leak and we just have too many electronics in our bags to risk that. This one is the perfect size too because it still fits in a cup holder but holds more than a traditional water bottle.
7. Best Travel Running Shoes

Running is the easiest and lightest way to work out while traveling. You can do it anywhere: in a gym on a treadmill, in a bustling city park, or on the beach of a remote island. But in order to run you will need some good running shoes, trust us, don’t try it without them. You know any Nike running shoes are going to be great for your feet and your knees, but I personally love the Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 37s. They are super lightweight, which is great for running and for packing and they have great support to help you run on any surface around the world.
8. Best Travel Workout Clothes
Source Nike
For me, having good workout clothes helps me actually want to work out. It seems silly but if I set out my matching workout outfit the night before I am more likely to get up and want to wear it to work out. These Nike Yoga Luxe Women’s High-Waisted Leggings and Nike Yoga Luxe Infinalon Crop Top are the perfect pair with lots of colors. And I love that it’s a tank but not too flowy to get in the way or too small to be considered rude to wear in public in some countries.
9. Best Travel Workout Apps
Lastly, these two apps are the best for working out while traveling. The Peloton App is a great way to get a ton of workouts without having the bike! It’s cheaper (plus 30 days free) than a gym membership and they have everything from HIIT workouts to yoga and even stretching after a workout. It’s a great way to join a community even while abroad and to mix up your style. Second, the Adidas Runtastic Running App is a great way to track your progress with running. They have fun challenges (Nate is doing a half marathon in a few weeks) and great tracking to know your pace and all the details you may want to know!
